lyrics
We held back steady coz a lamp was lit but we still let the cold in, so the sound of the crisis ain't that surprising/the west fuelled the hate in the east for the west and now the world is divided, so the sounds of the violence ain't that surprising/we learn, work then spend ourselves 'til the end, got their system working perfectly, so odious oppression ain't that surprising/we ain't got no human attitude, it began with their moulding, so the sound of the silence is so disturbing./what I find surprising still, there's no reviving makes me ill/there's a problem don't you know, the world needs resolving/as the sound of the kindness, goes unnoticed./Sleep should be easy, like breathing/but i'm beaten by a box and a puppet chameleon, repeating shades of colours so we should know better/layers of gutters and i'm still getting wet/no two ends meet together, just the ones that are visual/there's revival in forgetting this continual trivial, material set up, made our quest up, keeping us guessing making all the rest up/they won't admit it's mess, the elitists are pleased, got their system working cyclically, it's sick to me/generation after generation waiting for change, unaware their exacerbating this state everyday/distractions manufactured so we don't take action/looking for a souless reaction, a numeral pattern, a consumable package/wrapped up the matter in a material fashion./Light has been a sight surviving/gently brighter it won't fight/stirring soft amongst the money/hoping love will get done.
